Paul Rudd is back! Director Peyton Reed is back! Everybody is back!
Ant-Man and The Wasp is the sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man and the twentieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Following the events of Civil War, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) is placed under house arrest, while Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and her father Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) go into hiding and cut ties with Lang. Two years later, Lang receives an apparent message from Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), who has been trapped in the quantum realm since 1987. Scott Lang once again dons the Ant-Man suit, this time working alongside Hope as The Wasp, to rescue Janet, evade the FBI, outrun a black market dealer, as well as deal with a quantumly unstable masked woman – Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen).
It’s smaller, it’s bigger, it’s a quantum of a movie!
