Star Wars is back! Although it never left. The new anthology film, set prior to the events of A New Hope, is Solo: A Star Wars Story. Focusing on a young Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), as well as familiar characters – Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), we finally get a movie about Han Solo making the Kessel Run in, not fourteen, but twelve parsecs. Along for the ride are Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, and Paul Bettany. Originally under the direction of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, apparent creative differences with Lucasfilm saw the pair leave the project, with Ron Howard taking over directing duties and receiving the final director credit.
