LaBarre fills in and besides struggling to come up with an intro topic and answer the question "What did we learn," he fared admirably. Mooney is still coming into himself as an offensive threat, although he scored 12 points tonight. Tariq Owens flexed his defensive muscles and led the team with 6 blocks, 3 in one possession. Next game will be Friday against Mississippi Valley State. We preview the Longhorns and discuss how the stats are in agreement this week that Tech is probably the better team. We both think the game will be a close one, a little lower scoring, but LaBarre sees Texas getting the advantage over Duffey behind center.
