The Stanley Cup banner has been hung after an incredible ceremony on opening night, and the journey officially begins again for the Avalanche as the regular season kicks off against the Chicago Blackhawks and Calgary Flames on back to back nights. The Avalanche did what they wanted to the Blackhawks on Banner Night, starting the season with a 5-2 win without much trouble. The next night in Calgary wasn't so simple, as an emotionally exhausted Avs team fell 5-3 but put up a good fight on the road. Are there any major takeaways from the first two games? What can we expect against Minnesota on Monday?
