On the show today…

In news that fans have been waiting for, Britney Spears has officially been freed from the conservatorship she has been under for 13 years. Britney herself did not attend the Los Angeles-based hearing, but her fans were on the ground waiting for the verdict and their reaction will go down in the pop culture history books.

Photos and details from Paris Hilton’s three-day wedding extravaganza to Carter Reum have been released and now we need to talk about the details. Like why her groom wasn’t featured in the pictures, why Kim Kardashian wore a black dress, and the significance of Nicole Richie’s laugh.

And this weekend Taylor Swift released Red (Taylor’s Version), a re-recorded version of her 2012 album of the same name along with a short film starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien called All Too Well. Both the album and the film are packed with references to her infamous relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal, but once we dive into their backstory, every song lyric takes on a whole new meaning.
