On today's episode of Locked on Cavs, Chris Manning and Evan Dammerall discuss Taurean Prince, Cedi Osman and three end of the roster forwards: Dean Wade, Lamar Stevens and Mfiondu Kaganbele.
For Prince — who recently tweeted that he's healthy — his role is clear: play minutes at small forward and power forward and be a solid bench piece. He has clear value to the Cavs if he can stay healthy and perhaps could be a trade piece since he's an expiring contract.
For Osman, it's all about being rebuilt. Last year was the worst season of his career by far and it appears that his contract was a mistake for the team to do. So how can the organization revitalize him and how invested are they in doing so?
Lastly, Wade and Stevens look like they are NBA players or at least have a shot to be. But both still to develop a little bit more to become locks to stick in the NBA, with the Cavs or elsewhere. Both will be especially valuable if Kevin Love is not on the team at the beginning of next season.
