When we last left our intrepid heroes, Tar-Zaan and La has just escaped the clutches of a formidable underground Labyrinth. They soon find themselves in Opar’s sister city, New Rome, which is ruled with an iron fist by exuberant yet insane Emperor Nemone. While La continues to lose hope about Opar, Jane tries her best to rule a slowly falling apart city with Alexis at her side. Jack and Meriem alongside Akut soon also head to New Rome and discover some mysterious artifacts discussing a strange event called The Last Game.
