Today's episode of The Suitcase and The Scribe is a special one. Not one but two guests join Mike McKenna and Scott Burnside to make sure you are all set up for the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Up first was former NHLer and now TV analyst Colby Armstrong. Armstrong spoke about one of his former teams first, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the future of that franchise. Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang are both free agents this summer, and the organizations need to decide if they want to move on or not. He also discussed the Toronto Maple Leafs fall in the first round and his belief in the Tampa Bay Lightning. He then touched on the second round series in Florida and the upcoming Battle of Alberta.

Speaking of the Battle of Alberta, Bob Stauffer, the host of OilersNow, joined the guys later on in the show. Stauffer took a deep dive into the second round series between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames. He spoke about what this series means for the two cities, compared the two teams, and injuries in both lineups.

Between interviews, Mike and Scott discussed game one in Colorado last night and the two new coaching hires in the NHL.
