Submit ReviewOur antagonists have come to their senses and offer up two reasonable cocktails this week. Boring? Maybe, but a least they're quaffable. They also ponder Peralta-Tauchman trade, analyze the physical comedy stylings of Alex Wood, celebrate a great first month. But things really get cooking when Ben asks Matthew what's been bugging him all week. The rage is palpable.
Honey Rose Margarita
1 oz Cointreau
2 oz Blanco Tequila
1 oz Fresh Lemon
.5 oz Honey Water
2 dashes of Rose water (about 1/2 tsp)
Add all ingredients to shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with rose petals (fresh or dried)
Basil-Cucumber Vodka Gimlet
2 oz Vodka
.5 oz lime oleo saccharum
.5 oz lime juice
8 basil leaves
1 cocktail cucumber
Slice cucumber into rounds. Add basil and cucumber to mixing glass with a small amount of crushed ice and muddle. Add vodka, oleo saccharum, lime juice and more ice and shake. Double strain into into a chilled cocktail glass. Float a basil leaf and thin cucumber slice on top.
