Now that Bobby Hurley has signed his two-year contract extension, it's time to get to work and there is a lot to be done. The Arizona State Sun Devils basketball team just enjoyed an NCAA Tournament March Madness appearance, its first since the 2018-19 season. The team's success was largely built on the NCAA Transfer Portal additions of Desmond Cambridge Jr., Devan Cambridge, Warren Washington, and Frankie Collins and some good depth in the forms of D.J. Horne, Jamiya Neal, and Austin Nunez. But all was not built to last, as the Sun Devils now find themselves heading into the offseason without Des Cambridge and Luther Muhammad (eligibility) and Horne, Neal, Nunez, and Enoch Boakye (Transfer Portal). Hurley has certainly invested his time in Arizona State University, but this offseason will be one of his biggest challenges yet.
