We’ve got some amazing movie trailers to discuss before launching into our spoiler-free review of Suicide Squad.  Assassin’s Creed, Wonder Woman, Doctor Strange, Dunkirk, and more films are coming out this fall, and their trailers are almost better than the movie we came to see. And that movie is Suicide Squad, DC Comics’ summer racehorse which ends up getting lost in the pack.  We’ve got some stand-out performances from Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, and Will Smith, but their efforts aren’t enough to give this film the boost DC was hoping for. What we do get is a fun 2-hour romp through the streets of Midway City with a quirky cast of misfits.  The film falls a bit flat in its second act and can’t pull itself out of numerous plot holes, but it’s entertaining and undeserving of the Internet hatred from critics.
