With students getting ready for a return to university in September, due to the impact of COVID 19, and teaching going virtual, many students didn't make finding accommodation a priority, and now have a matter of weeks to secure accommodation. Ethain Ni Fheargaill of Housing Rights NI and NUS President Ellen Fearon are live with Linda to chat common renting pitfalls, and what students need to look out for. John Hume has left a massive political legacy but he was also involved in starting the first Credit Union in Ireland and became the youngest ever president of the Irish League of Credit Unions. Linda chats to Rosemary Doherty of the Derry Credit Union on the legacy he has left, what Credit Unions are, and who can use their services. Linda also hears from listener Declan, who took Flybe to court and won. Now he is back, to take on Loganair and try to get a refund for his flight. Richard Williams of the Consumer Council discusses travel rights during COVID 19 and what to do if you are in Declan's situation. Legal tender - one certain note is now no longer in circulation....and Linda hears how one listener found out unexpectedly during her first post lockdown shopping trip. Plus, TV Licence queries are answered and Linda looks at licence scams - what to look out for and avoid! Email: OnYourBehalf@bbc.co.uk
