It was the Writers Guild of America’s first picket line since the strike began. “These corporations are making billions of dollars off of our work, and we have members who can’t even afford healthcare because they are making less than $30,000 a year,” said Patrick Coker, a strike captain. “So all we’re asking for is a fair amount so that we could all eat.”
