We give you the downlow on the history of STI shame, the difference between STIs and STDs (yes, there is one!), we talk about the importance of testing and then we teach you some cool stuff about BUGS! Bug facts are the best facts. But, before we dive in, give us a look on Medium. We just started our account and we need your help if we’re going to successfully take over the world so…give us some claps on Medium. But not THE clap. Just use a condom, ok? Okay. Here we go. 00:30: Make sure to donate to us on glow.fm/welcometomyvagina to show us that you LOVE our work and to help us keep producing content! 01:45: Ugh…women can get donovanosis. There are more then 600 million cases of human papillomavirus (HPV) in the world, with 20 million of those being here in the US. Around 56% of college-age women in new relationships are infected with HPV< according to a study led by Eduardo Franco at McGill University in Montreal. 27:00: We were wrong!
