Steve grew up in a small town in rural Illinois, moved to Nashville at 19 and immediately started a session career that encompassed 42,000 tracks, 150 Gold & Platinum records, over 70 #1 records… an Emmy nomination for his work on TV… and being nominated as the first Musical Director of the Grand Ole Opry in its history. A position he held for over 16 years…
