1865: The Nottingham Forest Podcast is proud to partner with FanHub and The Terrace.
Another season and another new manager joins Nottingham Forest - or should we say head coach? After the departure of Chris Hughton last week, former Swansea City boss Steve Cooper has been appointed as head coach at The City Ground. The Welshman, who led the Swans to back-to-back playoff finishes in the Championship, takes charge of the Reds after their first win of the season at the eighth attempt; the 2-0 victory at Huddersfield Town on Saturday under the caretaker stewardship of Steven Reid.
Rich Ferraro is joined by Baz, Steven Toplis and the Maradona of the Midlands to examine the latest change in the Forest dugout. As well as touching on where it went wrong for Hughton, the panel look at Cooper's pedigree, his style of play and they ask if Forest have finally implemented some form of "strategy" through Cooper's appointment. Tom Morgan from Total Swans TV also joins the team to provide his view on the appointment of Cooper and what Forest fans can expect following his arrival.
