The Pittsburgh Steelers hired a new offensive assistant coach in Glenn Thomas, but he's not necessarily Matt Canada's replacement at offensive coordinator. Still, he could be a help to Kenny Pickett as another assistant coach with experience coaching quarterbacks in college and the NFL. But is he the right addition?

With the addition of Thomas and the naming of Gerald Alexander as an assistant defensive backs coach, the Steelers seem to be changing their philosophy on keeping a small coaching staff. Could this be a sign of improvement for Mike Tomlin's staff?

Also, a listener calls into the show to ask if the Steelers have a problem with players making a second year jump, and if Kenny Pickett and George Pickens can make a big second year jump to improve the offense.
