The Pittsburgh Steelers' chances at landing a top offensive tackle appear to be increasing with recent reports of which NFL Draft prospects might go in the early part of the first round. Broderick Jones and Paris Johnson Jr. were thought to be untouchable at the start of the offseason, but could one of them or Peter Skoronski fall to the Steelers' first round pick at 17th overall?

But what would be the nightmare scenario for the Steelers' first round pick? That could happen if quarterbacks are passed up in the earlier picks and more of the offensive tackles and cornerbacks are selected. But even if that happens, the Steelers' position at 17th overall might mean they can avoid a nightmare scenario on draft day.

Finally, what has Deonte Banks rising up the cornerback rankings? Could he be the 17th overall pick? His value against other cornerbacks might provide the answer to what the Steelers might do if their top prospects are all off the board.
