With the Vegas Golden Knights inking Noah Hanifin to a long-term contract extension on Thursday, they made a big step in securing what is already a beast mode blue line of bruising bad boys - but are they big and bad enough to lock down the final Western Conference playoff spot and make another deep run at the Stanley Cup? With teams like the St. Louis Blues still with a very realistic shot at winning out and taking the spot, only time will tell over the coming days as the season winds to a close. 

We dive into the Blues a little deeper and give some credit to the two biggest reasons this club is still alive in the western race: Jordan Binnington and Robert Thomas, both of whom are having excellent years while proving they both still carry a ton of fantasy hockey value heading into next season.
