Coach Kyle became head coach at St. Ignatius High School in 1983 and touts a 334-85-1 record, with 27 playoff appearances, 15 regional championships and three national championships. He was inducted into the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2010, Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame in 2013, and the National Federation of State High School Association Hall of Fame in 2016. 

 

In May 2016, Coach Kyle was recruited by the Cleveland Browns to serve as an advisor with the team’s youth football program. He is an avid advocate of player safety in football as well as all sports.
