In 1977, rookie comic book writer Ann Nocenti was given one daunting instruction for her first assignment: kill Spider-Woman. More than 40 years later, Spider-Woman is very much alive. Not only that, she’s the subject of an upcoming series of her own, written by Karla Pacheco.
