Guest: Margaret Peacock is an Associate Professor and the Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of History at the University of Alabama. Her research interests range from the history of the Soviet Union, the Cold War, the Middle East, childhood and media. She the author of Innocent Weapons: The Soviet and American Politics of Childhood in the Cold War published by The University of North Carolina Press in 2015. And her new book that in the works is tentatively titled Frequencies of Deceit: Propaganda in the post-Truth Middle East. Music: The Damned, “Problem Child,” Music for Pleasure, 1977.
