Recent rain and wind has made it impossible for crop spraying companies to help farmer get on top of pests and diseases, South Australian farmers and landholders are keen to get their hands on upgraded farm fire fighting unit equipment with the State Government receiving 1,255 applications in less than a month and about 100 women from across the state converged on Streaky Bay on the weekend to attend the 24th Rural Women's Conference.
