A group of nurses and doctors engaged in the fight against Coronavirus in South Africa have taken the government to court over the lack of personal protective gear like disposable surgical gloves and face masks. We speak to Lerato Madumo, Secretary-General of the Young Nurses Indaba Trade Union in South Africa. Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta banned all travel in and out of Nairobi, as well as three other Covid19 hotspots. The restrictions came into effect last night, causing traffic chaos as well as confusion and concern about how the measures would affect vulnerable citizens.
