Alec Baldwin takes on a superhero role in 1994's The Shadow.
Directed by Russell Mulcahy, The Shadow is based on the pulp fiction character of the same name created in 1931 by Walter B. Gibson.
That Film Stew's Luke and Comiczone's Jae go toe to toe with The Shadow in his 90s feature film - a character who has been featured on the radio, in a long-running pulp magizine series, in American comic books, comic strips, television, serials, video games, and at least five feature films.
Set in 1930s New York, a reformed criminal Lamont Cranston (Alex Baldwin) becomes a superhero. With the aid of the beautiful Margo Lane (Penelope Ann Miller), the playboy millionaire with a dark past sets out to bring the evil Shiwan Khan (John Lone) to justice. His quarry, who is determined to attain world domination, is a deadly descendant of Genghis Khan and will not surrender without a fight.
