It may have come and gone with just one season, but it is still worth talking about Swamp Thing. The series, created by Gary Dauberman and Mark Verheiden, is based on the DC Comics character of the same name created by Len Wein and artist Bernie Wrightson. Swamp Thing premiered on May 31, 2019, consisting of 10 episodes. Comiczone's Gareth and Jae get into all things Swamp Thing (Derek Mears) - a plant-elemental creature who fights malevolent forces around a Louisiana swamp. Medical doctor Abby Arcane (Crystal Reed) returns home to Marais, Louisiana, to investigate a deadly awamp-borne virus, where she develops a bond disgraced scientist Alec Holland (Andy Bean). After Holland tragically dies, Abby discovers the mysteries of the swamp and that Holland may not be dead after all when a mysterious creature claims to be him.
