Directed by Martin Campbell, Green Lantern is a 2011 superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, his future wife Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett and Tim Robbins. That Film Stew's Luke and Comiczone's Jae revisit one of DC's blackest nights with the highly criticised Green Lantern movie, discussing the characters origins, the comics, and of course that green CGI costume. Hal Jordan, a test pilot, acquires superhuman powers after being chosen by the Ring, becoming the first human member of the Green Lantern Corps. However, with the powers comes the responsibility of defeating the evil Parallax who is set on destroying Earth.
