With a new animated feature on its way, let's go back to the first live action feature attempt of The Addams Family. The 1991 film, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams originally debuting in The New Yorker in 1938 and the 1964 TV series produced by David Levy, is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld in his directing debut. That Film Stew's Luke and Nathan will revisit the supernatural black comedy film as well as go back and look at the comic strip debut of the odd wealthy aristocratic Addams clan. The Addams family (Angelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christina Ricci, Judith Malina) reconnect with who they believe to be a long-lost relative, Gomez's brother, Fester Addams (Christopher Lloyd), who is actually the adopted son of a loan shark intending to swindle the Addams clan out of their vast wealth and fortune.
