Detroit Red Wings hockey is officially underway, and Elmer Soderblom wasted no time in making his mark! Hockeytown is officially undefeated in the Derek Lalonde era.

Tune in as we cover the electric atmosphere at the Red Wings home opener in the Little Caesar's arena, starting with Elmer Söderblom's stellar play, 1st career goal in his 1st game, & how he looks like a solid NHLer next to Rasmussen & Sundqvist (5:47). We also recap the rest of the game, including a Ville Husso shutout, a Seider vs. Dach rivalry, & a nice moment with Vladimir "Vladdy" Konstantinov (13:10).

We also recap their next game, complete with a stellar performance from Alex Nedeljkovic, key goals from Vrana, Larkin, Chiarot, Perron, & Kubalik, fantastic setups from Raymond & Copp, Suter coming in for Veleno, & an overall recap of how all of the new guys we just listed (plus Andrew Copp) got off to a great start (16:30).

Also, Tyler Bertuzzi's rough hand injury, and what this means for his long-term future in terms of production, contract negotiations with Steve Yzerman, potential trade impacts, & how Filip Zadina may benefit from the opportunity (and where he could slot into the lineup (32:50).

Finally, some NHL news including Lindy Ruff's rough night, Toronto's goalie trouble, & thoughts on Seider's A & Detroit's potential jersey ads (45:02) - all of that and more, enjoy! #LGRW
