Stamford Chidge is joined by Jonathan Kydd, Dan Silver and Clayton Beerman to reflect on Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri's start to the season, plus an interview with Neil Smith about his book 'The A to Z of Chelsea "Where Were You When We Were Shocking?'

On the show tonight we’ll be pondering whether Chelsea and Sarri’s start to the season has been a case of ‘so far, so good’? Who has impressed and who hasn’t? What are the critical success factors to ensure a successful season? With Gary Cahill looking certain to leave in January will there be any other departures and arrivals and what would be the measure of success this season?

In part two and three we have the full interview recorded with Neil ‘Smiffy’ Smith a couple of weeks ago about his book 'The A to Z of Chelsea "Where Were You When We Were Shocking?' Neil’s book covers his reminiscences of 23 Chelsea away games from 1974 to 1995, taken from his personal diaries, the days when Chelsea were often, indeed, shocking. Evocative and heartfelt, funny and honest; from defeat at Queens Park Rangers to defeat at Zaragosa, via Tottenham, York, Fulham, York, Everton, a 6-0 defeat at Rotherham and many more. He tells us what it was actually like to travel to away games 30-40 years ago when heavy police escorts were the norm, and real ingenuity was needed to get a pre-match pint. (You can buy Neil's book from Amazon or from the cfcuk stall)

In part four, we have a couple of emails for Jonathan to read; we look at the 'Americanisation' of Football and give a tribute to Joe Cole who retired last week and we have our usual Chelsea Specials.
