Our guests today are Marcia McNair, assistant editor at Essence Magazine and is currently an Associate Professor of English, Journalism, and Women’s Studies at Nassau Community College, and Anissa D. Moore, the first African American to secure a tenured position in the Communications Department at Nassau Community College, who both talk about ‘Sistas on Fire,’ a ‘Newsical’ which was accepted in the Midtown International Theater Festival this summer.
