Submit ReviewHalifax's Zuppa Theatre and members of Sipekne'katik First Nation have come together to create an adaptation of Shakespere's The Tempest. The original was written in a time of colonization and is one of the only Shakespeare plays to feature Indigenous characters. In this retelling, titled Metu’na’q, the characters confront stereotypes. The CBC's Sis'moqon went to a rehearsal last week to speak to performers in Sipekne'katik.
