Paul Donovan's 1983 action-thriller SIEGE--aka SELF DEFENSE, aka NIGHT WARRIORS, aka NEW YORK 1991--is inspired by the real-life Halifax Police Strike of 1981. The film features a lawless city, terrorized by a group of proud-boys, who target and kill the patrons of a LGBT club. One of the patrons escapes and finds refuge in the safety in the company Horatio (Tom Nardini) and his crew, who are willing to fight back. Rooftop chase scenes, shootouts, explosions, chaos, panic and Trailer Park Boys' Philadelphia "Phil" Collins (aka Rosie). This movie is a wild ride, do not sleep on this one!
