Submit ReviewShuqba Cave is the site of two of the most important finds in ancient Middle Eastern archaeology. This included the discovery of a previously unknown culture that inhabited the Eastern Mediterranean during the Epipaleolithic era (which is the end of the Ice Age, approximately 12,500-9500 BC), which was named the Natufian Culture (in honor of the nearby valley, Wadi an-Natuf).
