Mike opens the show by saying they both had a fun and amazing weekend. Mike went with

Alyssa and her friends to see Coin at the Wiltern. The event was previously canceled due to a pandemic. Alyssa wants to be close to the stage, so they went an hour early, but they were 2 and a half hours early. The good thing about it is the first 250 people will get a wristband with access to the pit. They really have a good time. But Mike had mixed emotions about the opening band. Because they really sound bad live.

Then Torya shares her amazing fun weekend with Mitchell. They drove to The Forum to see Lany on Saturday night. Mike says he like Lany, but Torya questions it. She said that he goes back and forth on liking Lany. Torya says he will like Lany if he goes to their concert. Mike says he needs to experience their music all by himself. Torya suggested that he listen to Spotify coz they have a setlist of the songs on their tour. Then Torya shares she got some love for them now.

Then Torya shares a short story, this is not an AITA post but a Twitter post. The story was she had a son who bought a book at Goodwill for 50 cents. When he got home he discovered $500 tucked into the pages. Of course, he’s excited and wants to keep it, (he’s 30, I have no say) What would you do? Then Torya shares the 3 perspectives:

  1. Legally it’s his. It would be great if he would donate at least half of it though.
  2. Finders Keepers. I’d probably donate $200 for karma’s sake, but I won’t begrudge anyone keeping it.
  3. A sorry comment on the state of our public ethics. The purchase was a contract. You should return the money.

Then they weigh all the perspectives and agree more on the 2nd perspective. Mike can’t stand inconsistent people. Don’t be inconsistent. Torya says that he has been teasing Mike regarding this story, and how amazing he is coming up with his own pespective.

Torya ends the show by asking the opinions of the listeners. They want to know what’s your say in this story.
