The two-way phenom took his unique skills and legacy to another level on Sunday's Spring Training game when he not only made his third pitching start of the season but also led off in the Angels lineup. He did not disappoint, hitting 102 mph on the mound and striking out five batters, including Fernando Tatis Jr., and reaching base all three times at the plate, including twice against Blake Snell. It was a continuation of the type of spring Ohtani has had, one that he and the Angels hope to carry over into the regular season.
