This week we’re celebrating International Women’s Day! #womenpower We’re calling Zoe Saldana for the fuckery exhibited in that Nina Simone biopic trailer (SMDH), we’re highlighting a very cool project by Bronx photographer Edwin J. Torres*(We called him Juan in the podcast by mistake sorry!) about Puerto Rican millennials and how they’re dealing with PR’s economic crisis, and an update from the case at UAlbany where the accusers have now become the accused (but hat doesn’t mean racism doesn’t exist ya’ll *extreme side eye*). For what’s your baggage we’re breaking it down: are women really catty and competitive?? You can put two helpful new apps in your bag (one you’ve probably heard of lol) and in honor of women who inspire us we’re doing a “Real Bitch Roll Call” and talking about some women who have given us liiiiiife in the past year! As always check it out and all the links for our stories are listed below!
P.S. We were hella sleepy/tired so apologies to any information we got wrong/misquoted!
