A few weeks ago, an article in The Australian entitled ‘Sex? I’m Over It’ infiltrated the group chats of Gen X women all across the country.
In it, author Nikki Gemmell put into words a feeling that so many other women have felt at some point in their lives: I’m tired, I don’t want to have sex, and I just want my own bed.
20 years and 4 kids on from her groundbreaking erotic novel The Bride Stripped Bare, Nikki has some different thoughts about sex. Mainly, that she’s over it. And she just wants a good night’s sleep.
Nikki is honest, hilarious, and truly has no filter. This is her story.
THE END BITS:
With thanks to Nikki Gemmell.
