But why are many athletes struggling with their mental health and what can be done about it? In this episode, host Dermot Murnaghan is joined by Taekwondo British bronze medallist Bianca Walkden, former Olympian and sports psychology consultant Dr Lennie Waite, and professor of health history at University of Strathclyde Centre for the Social History of Health and Health Care, Professor Matthew Smith.
