Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new story Monday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again, so now we have "Favorite Friday." Please enjoy Sandbox City, and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
Ian has invited Mike over to play. However, time seems to be creeping by. When Mike finally arrives the two friends zip out to the sandbox and create a sandbox city.

Sandbox City Story Excerpt:
Ian sighed, and tried to think of what he could do. Waiting was difficult. Ian began to wander from room to room looking at each clock. Time slowly crept forward. Ian thought the morning would last forever. Ian’s dad heard him sigh, and looked up from his book. He noticed Ian was looking at the clock again. “Waiting is difficult isn’t it?” He said.
Ian looked at him and said, “The clocks seem to be stuck, it’s not even 10: 30. Two is so far away.” He flopped onto the couch.
“How are you feeling?” Ian’s dad asked him in a soothing voice. He could tell Ian was starting to get overwhelmed, and needed some help.
“I’m frustrated that I have to wait so long.” Ian said.
“I can understand that. Do you know what you can do to feel better?” his dad asked. Ian was already starting to calm down.
“I can take some deep dragon breaths.” Ian said, and breathed in and out (deep breath).
“How do you feel now?” Ian’s dad asked.
“Better,” Ian replied, “I think I’d better take 2 more deep dragon breaths.
