Mark Snow Interview. One television show that had a major impact on pop culture in the early nineties was The X-Files, created by Chris Carter. Equal parts mystery, science fiction and horror, the show was about two FBI Agents investigating paranormal phenomenon and other worldly encounters. One of the pillars of the show was the moody, spooky score which was composed by Mark Snow.
