This week, Suns Mode is not the same old podcast. While I am used to being overly positive and always preaching the ways of #ValleyExcellence, this week just has to be different.  For my Suns Mode faithfuls, I ask that you please hang with me through this one. Hopefully next week or in the coming weeks we can find the light again. This week, we have come to the conclusion of the NBA's investigation into Phoenix Suns / Phoenix Mercury owner and governor Robert Sarver's actions of racism, misogyny and sexual abuse in the workplace.

Brittney Griner has eclipsed 200 days in Russian detention, and the US Government has yet to do anything about it. In this week's episode of Suns Mode, I go over some recent news about Steph Curry's attempt to contact the government and offer help toward Griner. How the government answered his offer, is terrifying.

On the brighter side of things, a new Phoenix Suns jersey has been leaked in full detail. These new jerseys will be primarily black in color and will replace the orange Statement jerseys from the past three seasons.

This week was difficult for me to sit on the microphone and not get too emotional about what we were discussing. There are things in life to be happy about and look forward to, like the WNBA Finals. They have been a movie.
