The beginning of the Phoenix Suns 2022-23 basketball season is just around the corner. The NBA Preseason is less than a calendar month away, with the Suns playing their first game on October 2nd. This week, I start what will be a trend of Suns hype episodes to get us ready for the knitty gritty. Regular season basketball in one month and a half. Lets get it. This week, I go over the basics of the Suns 2022 offseason.

I have kind of given the Suns a hard time this summer, and the WNBA has been so ridiculously crazy that I have not really paid the Suns any attention. I wanted to say some positive things as well. Even though we are on the heels of two very disappointing playoff exits, I believe there is still a lot to look forward to. 

• Six reasons to be excited about Suns basketball this season. (there are plenty more than six)

The WNBA Playoffs are still raging with excitement. While our Phoenix Mercury are no longer in contention, the final four teams gave us a lot of great basketball. The Aces will head to the finals to make an attempt at the franchise's first title. On Thursday, the Chicago Sky and Connecticut Sun will face off in Chi-Town for a winner-take-all game 5. It is looking to get very exciting.
