Rebecca and Alex are back for a Champions League quarter-finals special, after all four games seriously lived up to the hype - with some pretty shocking jokes and (hopefully) some better analysis.
In the biggest shock of the round, Manchester City lost to Lyon and while the pundits spent the majority of their time looking at how Man City went wrong, we bring focus to what Lyon did right, their star men, and a nod to the SPFL along the way, before we look at why Pep keeps coming unstuck at the quarter finals stage and those strange tactical decisions.
Barcelona were hammered 8-2 by Bayern Munich, with Rebecca risking the wrath of Liverpool Twitter with her opinion on Alphonso Davies, while we praise Thomas Muller again (both for his dad jokes and his on pitch performance), and chat about just where Barcelona go next, with Messi pulling the strings for far too long and a change needed from top to bottom at the club.
Atletico Madrid were disappointing in their loss to RB Leipzig and anyone who's listened to the podcast regularly will know our love for Atleti; which is why we're so angry about their performance in this quarter-final. We question why Simeone keeps setting up one of the best teams in Europe to play like underdogs, whether this is the end of the cycle, issues around Joao Felix and Diego Costa, and that phenomenal centre back showing from Dayot Upamecano.
PSG broke all our hearts with their late comeback to knock out Atalanta. We praise Atlanta for nearly getting the job done, PSG's injury issues, defend Neymar, and whether PSG can finally go all the way and win the Champions League this season.
Plus, one-legged ties, Arturo Vidal's pre-match comments, whether Philippe Coutinho is the worst transfer of all time, midfield seasoning, 'Moosacres', sharing bottles of wine, 'Man in the Mirror', Pinky and the Brain tactics, Argentinian tea, Cafu-like creatures, fluffy handcuffs, and stealthy Noah strikes again.
