It's Rebecca and Alex's third wedding anniversary and what better way to celebrate than to talk about the last week of football. Liverpool are still 8 points clear at the top of the Premier League after big wins over Everton and Brighton. The Merseyside Derby was a seven goal thriller too with Klopp going rotation crazy to bring in the GOAT Origi, new hair Shaqiri and lovely Lallana. We chat about the gulf in class between the red and blue side of Liverpool, sh*thousery, stress free wins, Jordan Pickford's nightmares, and how much longer Marco Silva will still be manager of Everton. We also chat about Manchester City's last two games - they got back on track with a win vs Burnley but Jonjo Shelvey played spoiler as they dropped points at Newcastle. Do Man City have more issues this season than they did last season as more teams find joy countering attacking against them, and how much of a part does Kevin de Bruyne's role play in that? Chelsea have also had an inconsistent week, with a David Martin masterclass denying them vs West Ham before Tammy Abraham came back into the side to improve them against Aston Villa. We discuss Chelsea's concerns up front, Kepa's improvements, Marcos Alonso being frozen out, and John Terry's handshake. There's also talk of Man Utd and Marcus Rashford upping their game against a big team once again - probably inevitable as Jose Mourinho returned to Old Trafford - as well as whether Leicester City are true title contenders this season, who will take the job at Arsenal now they've sacked Unai Emery, and how Messi undid Atletico Madrid yet again. Plus, the Ballon d'Or, leather gifts, late Christmas shopping, Brendan Rodgers' hair & makeup team, goats vs pigs, the sexiest man alive, 'The Big O', no place like home, 'the burn zone', which manager is a ham and cheese meal deal, and Rebecca's darkest analogy yet. **Please take the time to rate and review us on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts, as it makes it easier for other potential listeners to find us.
