The sun is out and Rebecca and Alex are sweating more than David Luiz when Mo Salah runs at him. On this week's podcast, we look at Liverpool's 3-1 win over Arsenal and there's plenty of love for Salah, Firmino and Matip and the Reds showing their gulf in class against fellow top six opposition, as well as discussion of Unai Emery's surprising tactics at Anfield and whether there are positives Arsenal can take away from the loss. Chelsea also registered their first win in the Premier League under Frank Lampard in a five goal thriller against Norwich City, with Tammy Abraham finally shining as their No 9. We also discuss the improvements in the midfield, as well as more Pukki love, of course. Perhaps the biggest talking point from the weekend was VAR again confusing us all and we delve into yet more issues with how the technology is being implemented in the Premier League and ask why the VAR officials seem so hesitant to overrule the decisions of the on-field referee, even if there is a stonewall penalty call that's been missed. Meanwhile, Man Utd came crashing back down to earth this weekend as they lost to Crystal Palace and there's plenty to discuss around their defensive issues, their mentality, and all the nonsense surrounding Rashford, Pogba and penalties. We also delve into Bournemouth's positive performance against Man City, Aguero and Sterling making the difference again, Newcastle's surprising win over Tottenham, issues for Pochettino at Spurs, and Watford's woes. Plus, plenty of traffic light analogies, whether you should drink a whole bottle of wine to yourself, keeping it in the piggy bank, defenders flying the coop, and a special 'Fame or Shame' look at the state of football punditry in 2019. **Please take the time to rate and review us on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts, as it makes it easier for other potential listeners to find us.
