Rebecca and Alex are back and there's plenty of summer football to catch up on. Alex may still be a slightly broken man after spending a few nights without a pillow in a tent but Rebecca is full of beans and excited to talk about Frank Lampard becoming Chelsea manager. We assess how we think Lampard will get on in the job and how certain players might fare with him at the helm. On the other hand, Newcastle United supporters are significantly less happy with their new manager Steve Bruce and we take a closer look at the depressing situation for everyone at Newcastle not named Mike Ashley. We delve into the substantial rumours that Philippe Coutinho may make a dramatic return to Liverpool this summer. Should Liverpool supporters swallow their pride and be happy to see the creative Brazilian back in the fold or would this be a step backwards for the Reds? We also catch up on the fallout from Brazil's win in the Copa America, rave about the performances of Alisson Becker and Dani Alves, and discuss Lionel Messi's allegations about CONMEBOL referees. There's a look back at a fantastic Women's World Cup too, with plenty of praise for our new lord and saviour Megan Rapinoe, before delving into the criticism of the WWC's best player, the equal pay debate, as well as considering where England can improve for the Euros and how women's football as a whole can continue to grow from here. All that, plus a fascinating sauce on chips analogy from Rebecca, a hell of a rant about Messi's history with referees, and chat about Alex's new Twitter friendship with Vimto. **Please take the time to rate and review us on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts, as it makes it easier for other potential listeners to find us.
