HOLD THE PHONE. Has 1991 finally given us what could actually be described as a 'classic album'? Well, both Dave and Krister remember it fondly and it's certainly touted as a classic but does it stand up to scrutiny nearly 30 years later? We shall see.

The conversation takes us down the usual strange pathways making mention of the likes of Chesney Hawkes and Megadeth and we also see Dave making a comparison between one of the REM songs and a certain Kenny Loggins tune - is he right or just mental? You decide.

The full companion Spotify playlist with all the REM songs and many of the other tunes we chat about is available to listen to here. The rest of our playlists and various nonsense (and links to our social media) are, as ever, at www.pclpodcast.com The podcasts we mentioned this week are available to check out at the following links, they really are excellent and you should definitely check them out (tell them we sent you so we get some credit for being cool):
