Ryan starts off this LOADED week of baseball by discussing the MLB Rule 5 draft which is this Wednesday, 12/7/22 and the Washington Nationals will have the opportunity to draft a potential impact player that could help us come Opening Day 2023. Which position should the Nats be locked in on? Ryan discusses the possibility of two pitchers who were in AAA this past season, as well as one of the most intriguing prospects in this Rule 5 draft, Erik Miller from the Philadelphia Phillies. How sweet would it be to take away one of their top 10 prospects? Ryan discusses this and all the possibilities to begin the show. Then, do you remember during the 2019-2020 offseason when the Nationals were being discussed around the clock and what decision they would make regarding Anthony Rendon and Stephen Strasburg? Well, fast forward 3 years, we are in the thick of it for basically no big named guys. Regardless, there are holes to fill and I expect some of those to be filled this week. What can the Nationals do to improve their roster over this week? Also, let's rejoice as Jacob deGrom is out of the NL East!
