It is done. The SEC approves sticking with an 8-game football schedule in 2024, pushing back the plan to go to 9-games. I’ll tell you why I’m not really the biggest fan of this. The reason we got here: wanting more money in the tv contract, and some teams scared to go to nine.

And RIP to the SEC East and the SEC West. SEC divisions are going away in 2024, the conference will send the two teams with the best conference records to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game.

We'll also address some of the criticism the SEC is taking for the decision from the likes of Pat Forde. And we'll explain why the SEC schedule is still STRONG in 2024 because of some of the MONSTER non-conference games scheduled.

And the SEC introduces new penalties for teams who storm the field - spoiler alert, I still don't think it's going to deter teams from doing it!
